Achievement and Faith

Why is taking a leap of faith discouraged, whereas, taking faithless dragging steps towards "achievement" is encouraged ?
Achievement of what ? Is that all that remains of life ? Ego-satiation, they say. To what end ? I will trudge to work, I will do my duty, I will suppress and oppress myself, I will grin and bear it, I will sit quietly while my mind plays with orgies of blood. But the question remains...TO WHAT END ? Why is "want" such a bad word ?

Sanskaar Nagri, Dogla Raja

India is a Republic on paper. Indian people still function on an inner compass of Monarchy and serfdom. The sheer shamelessness with which people salivate at the thought of sucking up to higher-ups turns my stomach. Our protocol flows in a direction opposite to that of a Republic.
