India is a Republic on paper. Indian people still function on an inner compass of Monarchy and serfdom. The sheer shamelessness with which people salivate at the thought of sucking up to higher-ups turns my stomach.

Our protocol flows in a direction opposite to that of a Republic.
So get down from your nationalistic perches of enforced naivety and accept this day as yet another day where servitude rules the roost.
